  1. Trying to dispel the stereotypes about the kind of people who play Magic, eh? Just kidding. :) I really like what the girl you interviewed had to say about it - I'm not sure people think about the social aspect of the game, but I bet you can meet a lot of people through sharing this common interest. I'm going to see if I can find a how-to video on how you play the game, I had mentioned to you in class that people used to play it at the restaurant I worked at in International Falls as a teenager, and I remember thinking it was a pretty complicated game. How long have you been playing Magic, and what draws you to the game? Do you think there is a way you could incorporate your interest in the game in your future teaching? A teacher here at PC really likes Magic, and she is doing some role playing card game thing with her students this year as part of an incentive to do well grade wise. I'm not sure how exactly she worked it out, but I know she spent all summer planning it out, and that she drew pretty heavily on the rules for Magic. Just a thought.
